What do I do if the address on my bank statement is different from that on my Winvesta account

We understand that sometimes the address on your bank statement may not match exactly as on the document you have shared during KYC. Example area/region differences in the addresses are acceptable. e.g. if the bank statement shows Vapi but the Proof of address document shows Valsad we are happy to accept such documents. 

However, we can't verify your bank statement if the address mentioned in your Bank statement is different as an address match is a requirement enforced by the RBI as part of the UPI /net banking payment process.

Please note, the decision on accepting the bank statement for a UPI/Netbanking payment rests with our partner bank. 

What can you do if the address is different?


If your address has changed and your proof of address document provided at the time of onboarding is no longer the same, please send us the new proof of address document to support@winvesta.in quoting your brokerage (Drivewealth) account number. We will review your details and update your address in our records accordingly. We may reach out to you for any clarifications. 
We will update you as soon as the address is updated post which please continue to upload the bank statement (ensuring that the transaction dates reflect the 1-year statement).

Please note: that you must inform us of a change in any details provided to us at the time of onboarding.
